Sports and BBQ
Infants showcase their sporting talents and end the week with a farewell BBQ.
Well where has that week gone? It has simply flown by, mainly because there have been so many different events to plan and prepare for.
On Wednesday, we held our Infant Sports' Day and there were so many pupils and families enjoying the whole occasion. I saw some very skilful throwing, jumping and running. Perhaps we have some budding athletes of the future in our midst. Thank you all for coming to support the children and at times keep them focused on the sport at hand. It was a very fun occasion. Eventual winners were Ranworth, so well done to that House, but everyone did so well.
On Friday, we held the Year 2 Leavers' BBQ. A massive thanks must go to Mrs. Low, Mrs. Cowley and Mrs. Townsend for their assistance and generous donations. Pupils, families and staff were well fed in the heat of the afternoon and after a swift scavenger hunt, the children played so nicely with one another. We will miss all of you, but know you are growing up into fine Junior pupils.
Next week, we have the trip to Africa Alive for Reception and one to Bewilderwood for the Year 1 pupils. It will soon be time for the Year 2 residential to How Hill. Trips galore!
Have a lovely, relaxing weekend everyone.
