Sun, Sand and Seals
Infant Leaders & School Councillors keep the beach tidy to Save Our Seals!
Phew! It has been a scorcher this week and thankfully the Infant Leadership Team and the School Council benefited from this as they went to Scratby beach to collect the litter and reduce pollution in our seas which sadly affect the seal population at Horsey. S. O. S is the message so please remember to save our seals.
All the relevant children have now completed the Phonics Screening Check and I am thrilled to say they all did splendidly. I have been really impressed by the children's swift adaptation to the school's new Phonics Package Little Wandle and the staff have been amazing at embracing it and delivering it so effectively.
It was lovely on Wednesday evening to welcome our new Reception parents to the school and we got to meet some of the new children who will be attending. If any new parents have any further questions, please feel free to email or call the school to speak to Mrs. Allen, Mrs. Bunker or Mrs. Bird.
The letter regarding staffing arrangements will be coming out next week ahead of transition day and parents will be informed directly, as to which class their child has been allocated.
Attendance this week was won by the Caterpillar class. Well done guys keep it up.
Have a great weekend everyone!
