Reading Time!
Tilly the Reading and Therapy Dog returns!
Welcome back after the half-term break and this week has simply flown by. There have been so many different events taking place, once again, that there never is any time to pause for breath at the moment.
It was great to be able to accommodate the Travelling Book Fair this week and I hope many of you have perused through and made some purchases to continue that lifelong passion for reading. There is nothing like getting a brand, new book, taking it home and sharing it with a family members. Remember, every sale the school can make generates commission, which is then re-invested back into the school for more literature. Next week, it will move over to the Junior school, so feel; free to go and visit if you missed your chance this week.
Tilly the Reading and Therapy dog returned and relaxed whilst groups of different children read with her. She certainly looks like she enjoyed herself from the picture above, as did the children who could not wait to sit and take part. She will be back next week Tuesday.
Rehearsals have been in full swing with Mrs. White-Joubert in preparation for the Norfolk County Music Festival. Today, saw the Juniors come over to have their first combined practice. It is a challenge, but worth it in the end as they always perform so well. Do not forget the performance is at the King's Centre in Norwich on 12.3.24 about 11:00am and parents can pay on the door £4.50 to spectate.
Next week, it is World Book Day on Thursday 7th March and we are encouraging children to come in either dressed as their favourite children's book character or come in warmly in pyjamas as the theme is Bedtime Stories.
Have a great weekend everyone!
