Final Full Week
Christmas Dinner is a hit!
Is it Friday already? All the Christmas events that have been taking place across the Federation have been coming thick and fast and I have lost all knowledge of what day it is.
On Wednesday and Friday, our Infant children spent the afternoons entertaining their families with their performances of The Most Important Card of All. The singing, dancing and acting were well received and after lots of hard work from staff and parents, the children smashed it. We are all very proud of them.
Thursday saw the traditional Christmas dinner where staff and pupils join together to pull crackers, share a conversation or two and listen to my cheesy, festive jokes as comedy compère. We were so pleased that so many could take part together, despite there being the odd pocket of illness from each class.
On Friday evening, many families joined together to take part in the Carol Service being held at the village Church. We heard from some fabulous readers, listened to the choir perform a couple of hits and sang the traditional carols joyously as one entity. Thank you to Rev. Jo and the Church for hosting and supplying refreshments for everyone. Christmas is definitely getting closer.
Next week, we have our Infant Curriculum Celebration on Monday, where parents can visit and be taken through the learning of the children, by the children themselves. Party day with jumpers is Tuesday and staff will be communicating via Class Dojo about these arrangements. Of course, Wednesday is the Federation pop-up PTFA Christmas Fayre being held at the Junior school from 3:30pm. Please make sure you have your raffle tickets.
Have a great weekend everyone!
