Anyone for Tennis?

Half-Term arrives with an enrichment session of Tennis

Well done to all the Infants, who took part superbly in the enrichment morning of Tennis courtesy of Premier Sports today. The sun has been out this week and I truly hope this endures for the half-term holiday.

A huge thank you must go to all Year 2 children and staff for completing their Key Stage One tests courageously and diligently. They have made us all very proud, because they have done the best they can do. This was the final year for these statutory tests removing that undue pressure from the children at such a young age. These are only ever used as a tool to assist staff assess where the children are at within their learning.

It has been great fun working with different groups of children, particularly in Year 2 this week, as some sat tests others were with me doing coding and a battling it out with indoor hockey. I never realised how competitive these children were, but my word, they were fighting it out until the end. They all had a real sweat on.

Next week is half-term, so please enjoy the time off and remember we will see you again on Monday 5th June raring to go for the final push towards the Summer holidays.

Have a great half-term everyone!
