Decoration Time...Come On!

Week ends with a decoration frenzy!

The week began with many of our children being given a flu vaccination. The majority of children were extremely brave with only a few who had reservations about accepting it and who then needed to be coaxed around.

All of our Dragonflies parents' have now been notified that Mrs. Vaughan is going to be off for a period of medical absence, but we have secured the return of Mrs. Allen who is going to cover her until she is fit to come back. I am sure it will be an exciting experience for Mrs. Allen and a relief for Mrs. Vaughan to know her class remains in safe hands.

Friday was our annual Decoration Day for parents to visit and complete some Christmas decorations with their children. We emphasise and encourage the children to do the tasks with the support of the adult because it helps to keep the children engaged and builds their resilience and independence when undertaking something challenging. I am pleased the event was so well attended and I look forward to the next event.

Next week on Tuesday, Rev. Jo is visiting us to lead another Christingle assembly. Friday is also non-uniform in exchange for a donation towards the rainbow raffle.

Have a relaxing weekend everyone!
