Anyone for Cricket?

Sports all round on the final day of the half-term!

It has been a particularly sporty end to the week. The Reception class went off to Martham Primary Academy and enjoyed a carousel of different activities organised and led by their Year 6 children. This is an annual event and a highly successful opportunity to inspire our youngest pupils to be as active as they can. Thank you to Martham and to our staff and volunteers who ensured the trip could go ahead positively. The children came back extremely excited from their experience.

The end of the first half-term means that we usually have a sporting enrichment session and this time around it was Cricket. Thank you to Premier Sports for delivering a round of modelling how the children in each class could access and ultimately enjoy the game. There was some very early potential from many of the children, perhaps identifying the cricketers of the future. The children spoken to liked playing Cricket.

Next week is half-term so please enjoy this with families. Be safe and remember we return on Monday 2nd June. On Friday 6th June, we will be having our Planting Day across the Federation, so please send your child into school with a potting plant for them to plant to make our site more beautiful.

Have a great week everyone!
