Welcome Back!

It is great to be back after a very hot Summer and I am extremely pleased to say that the children have settled in swiftly and appear raring to learn as much as they can and as quickly as they can.

It was only a very short week of two days, but I can already see the classes returning straight into their routines and rules and the children following them appropriately. I have particularly enjoyed going in to meet the new Reception class, who have been very engaging, so I have no doubt our relationship will develop as time goes along.

The children in Years 1 and 2 sat superbly in assembly too, saying our school prayer with great gusto. Well done everyone!

Next week, on Friday 11th September, we have Roald Dahl Day to commemorate where normally we share extracts of different Roald Dahl books and complete some tasks about the popular author.
