3...2...1...Lift Off!

Rocket launching enjoyed by all!

It has been another hectic week, but at least the sunshine provided many opportunities for the children to enjoy being outside for play as well as their some of their learning. Due to this increase in temperature and bright sun, please ensure all children arrive at school with a hat, wearing sun cream and have a water bottle.

As you can see from the image, Year 1 children have been making bottle rockets and these were launched to see which one went the furthest. It was equally as enjoyable for the Reception children who provided an additional audience and in some way inspire them with a task to look forward to next year.

On Friday, Reception children went over to Martham Primary Academy for the annual sports' carousel organised and led by their Year 6 children. This is a really fun and exciting trip for our youngest children to participate in without any competitive element. I have no doubt they will all return bursting to tell me how they got on.

Next week is half-term, so please enjoy the break and we shall see you when you return on Monday 1st June.
