Science Write-Up
Children continue their efforts to learn as much as they can!
This week has seen a continuation of bright weather and this means that the children get to use the playing field and our nature space more provided it is dry. The children love being outside using their imaginations to the fullest.
I have enjoyed seeing the children continue their learning. Year 1 were taking part in their throwing and catching skills PE session, Reception were planting cress seeds and Year 2 were writing their science experiment up as shown in the picture above. They were all trying their hardest to write as accurately as possible using some very technical words.
We have booked a number of trips in the coming weeks, which we hope the children will enjoy attending. On the final day of the half-term, Reception have a trip to Martham Primary Academy for a carousel of sporting activities. They will also be planning a trip to Thrigby Wildlife Park. Year 1 are planning a trip to Pettits and Year 2 are organising a trip to the Time and Tide Museum. Letters will be coming out in the future with further details.
Next week, please remember it is Bank Holiday Monday, so the school will be closed to pupils. When we return on Tuesday 5th May, we have our class and leavers' photos to be taken. Let us hope the weather is nice for the shots.
Have a lovely weekend everyone!
